"Go, and make disciples of all nations. . ."

Jesus tells his disciples to “Go …and make disciples of all nations.” At Bethel Presbyterian Church we want to impact locally and globally, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to our city and the world.  The Missions Committee is the global arm of our local church.  We are the liaison between our missionaries and our members. Bethel supports mission work in Peru, Germany and Spain, and is committed to praying for, financially supporting and sending missionaries to help fulfill the Great Commission.

Mission’s Moment for the Week of April 15:
When the disciples were under threat of persecution in the early days of the church they prayed together,  “Lord look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness … And they continued to speak the word of God with boldness.” (Acts 4:30-31). When Peter was being kept in prison, “earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.” (12:5) Please remember to pray for our missionaries as they minister in dangerous parts of the world. There is a sheet on the bulletin board with prayer directions and our missionaries’ names. In addition to Pray for Missions Monday, sign up for a day on the prayer calendar to remember them through the day. Be sure to look at the newest prayer letter from Wes and Jami Baker.
